OUTLINE DESIGN AND CONSULTATION

Look over the site limitations and advantages to gain an understanding of what is required and advise if possible.

Using the information gained from the site visit prepare initial sketch design proposal.

DESIGN AND PLANNING

Design project in line with your requirements, current planning legislation, local development framework and apply to your local planning authority as your agent.

CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS

Prepare all drawings / schedules / specifications for your project to meet or out perform current building regulations.

Compile all information and send out to a minimum of 3 local builders to obtain a fair price for the building works.

SITE OVERSEEING

Once a builder has been appointed APT Design Services will carryout a site overseeing role to check the project is on track and being built to approved drawings.

APT Design Services can also act as ‘contract administrator’ if you wish to run the project under contract.

Firstly what we do at APT Design Services is determine what it is you want to achieve from your extension / alteration / new build.  We will come out to you for a no obligation site visit and sit down with you and talk about any ideas you have, what you want to achieve.

This consultation usually takes about an hour and having it on site really gives us a better understanding of the surrounding areas and the site conditions.
